Sarah Harman

Sarah is the firm's Senior Partner, having founded the Practice back in 1982.

She is a well known campaigning lawyer who worked for many years in Child Care cases but over recent years has specialised in Medical Negligence claims.

She has a national profile, her clients including Josie Russell, the victims of the Kent & Canterbury smear test blunder and the women sexually abused by Folkestone GP Dr Ayling.

Kate Miller

Kate is a consultant in the firm and specialises in both Family and Mental Health Law.

Kate was head of the former-family department. Her case load included all areas of Family Law, especially those involving children. She had a particular interest in Child Care, representing children and parents in care proceedings and also regularly represented parties in adoption proceedings.

Hannah Uglow

Hannah Uglow joined Harman and Harman in 2009.

Hannah had a particular interest in cases involving the abuse of power by public authorities and assisted on inquest and death-in-custody cases. This aspect of her work, namely her interest in the transparency and accountability of public bodies translates into the area of clinical negligence and Hannah is looking forward to bringing her experience to bear on our cases in this field.

Hannah is a member of the Young Legal Aid Lawyers; Amnesty International and the Haldane Society.
